For on-demand vocational qualifications (this excludes examined units), once the assessment is complete, you make a certification claim for each candidate.
Certification claims are made via Interchange and we have created step-by-step instructions for each qualification:
There are no specific deadlines for making certification claims for on-demand assessments; however, it is important only to make claims when you are confident that the requirements for the unit have been met.
You should also submit the claim at least two weeks before you expect them to review your candidates' work or, in the case of visiting moderation, two weeks before a planned visit.
Within 24 hours of submitting your claim, you need to send candidate work to be moderated or marked by the OCR assessor as per the qualification.
In the case of qualifications with visiting moderation, e.g. Cambridge Technicals, moderation will take place via a centre visit.
Your OCR assessor will then confirm or edit the claim as appropriate.
