Withdrawal of January series for OCR Entry Level Certificate in Business Studies
Further to our September Subject Information Update about the withdrawal of selected Entry Level Certificates, we have decided to remove the January series for the Entry Level Certificate in Business Studies (R343), with effect from January 2018. This is due to low entries for this series.
This means that there will not be a January series in 2018 or 2019. However, there will be a January 2017 series as per table below:

We will continue to support and assess this qualification up to the conclusion of the final resit series in 2019.
For centres looking for an alternative provision, our new GCSE (9-1) in Business (J204), accredited for first teach in 2017, will be suitable for some learners.
