The Department for Education and Ofqual have today launched consultations on proposed changes to the content and structure of GCSEs taken by students in England. The new GCSEs would be taught in schools from September 2015 and the first exams taken in June 2017.

OCR will be giving the new proposals the fullest consideration and producing our response at the appropriate time.

We are currently working hard to support students taking their GCSE and A Level exams, and will ensure that schools and colleges are fully supported to deliver a new generation of GCSEs.
