Our Religious Studies qualifications have been created to inspire students to engage in relevant topical issues and acquire knowledge and a critical understanding of major issues that are relevant to learners in the twenty-first century.
The GCSE (9-1) specification will help students develop knowledge and understanding of religions and non-religious beliefs, such as atheism, humanism and secularism and tackle issues relevant in modern British society such as dialogue between religions and non-religious beliefs and attitudes.
Our AS and A Level Religious Studies specifications are an evolution of our popular legacy specification and areas will be familiar to teachers already following our courses, but are also clear and logically laid out for schools new to OCR. They provide students with the exciting opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of world religions, explore the philosophy of religion, and religion and ethics.
