This experience, backed up by extensive research and evaluation from our three year pilot, has given us a unique insight into what functionality means to assessment design. This qualification can be used as a component for any Foundation Learning programme.
We’ve put together this guide to give additional guidance on how internal standardisation may be approached. These guidelines must be used in conjunction with the Centre Handbook and Admin Guide relevant to the qualification you are delivering.

An interactive Functional Skills English course for Entry Level 3, Level 1 and Level 2. All the delivery for the qualification is offered through film production, high quality content which sits on an interactive, easy to use platform. The platform alerts tutors if learners are struggling so they can be offered further support, either on a 1-1 basis or through video conferencing (which is also built into the platform). A new way of learning for a new generation of technology focused learners and also for previous generations who have struggled to learn in a traditional way.
