For 2023 only, for our new Cambridge Nationals qualifications (first teaching September 2022), we're providing an exceptional autumn 2023 submission opportunity for non-examined units.
The autumn 2023 submission opportunity is an extension of the June 2023 series, introduced to support those schools and colleges who were not able to submit their centre marks for the June 2023 series by the agreed deadline.
For students who completed the January/June 2023 OCR set assignments for our new Cambridge Nationals qualifications, this is an exceptional opportunity to submit marks and work for moderation in autumn 2023.
This submission opportunity is only available in autumn 2023 and will not be offered in future years.
We've provided the arrangements below and in our dedicated FAQs.
The exceptional autumn 2023 submission opportunity is not available for the legacy Cambridge Nationals qualifications as June 2023 was the final submission opportunity. A resit series for examined units only is available in January 2024.
All the key dates are available on our website – once downloaded, filter by ‘Cambridge Nationals’ and ‘November 2023’ series.
If you do not meet the agreed deadlines, there is a significant risk your students will not receive their results on results day.
To submit work for moderation in autumn, you must meet all the following criteria:
*This does not apply to Sport Studies unit R185 and Enterprise and Marketing unit R069 as these assignments do not change each year.
For further details, see our FAQs.
You can view our fees list for the exceptional submission opportunity on our website.
You must make your entries in the November 2023 series by 21 September.
To make entries via EDI, use the 'November 2023' basedata (ba23), available on our website. This also contains GCSE English Language and Mathematics for November 2023.
If you are making your entries via Interchange, select the ‘November 2023’ series.
Unit entry codes are available in the Cambridge Nationals entry codes booklet for 2022/23 – use the codes for the June 2023 series.
You must submit your students' marks in the November 2023 series by 2 October.
You can submit marks using Interchange or via EDI.
You'll normally receive a sample request within one to two days of submitting your marks. The earliest you’ll receive a request will be 30 September. All samples must be submitted within three working days of receiving the sample request.
Candidate samples can be submitted via Submit for Assessment, or sent by post. When making your entries, the entry option selected specifies how the sample of work for each unit will be submitted.
