If individual certificates are lost or damaged within the centre, we will issue free replacement certificates for a limited time. Following this time, there will be a charge (see our fees list for details).
After a further period, we will no longer provide replacement certificates and centres will be issued with a certifying statement of results, which is an official copy of the results.
The table below shows when charges apply and for how long replacements will be provided before certifying statements will be issued.
*For the November 2020 series, certificates will arrive by 26 March 2021 and the free replacements deadline will be 30 April 2021. The deadline for all replacement certificate requests will be 30 September 2021.
If you are from a centre, send requests as follows:
If you are a candidate, please make a request through your centre or use the relevant application form available from the students area.
Certificates are issued in the name provided when the original entry was made.
Once certificates have been printed, we won’t change whole names but we can correct spelling mistakes or the wrong date of birth.
Please send requests and certificates to the Results Team, OCR, The Triangle Building, Shaftesbury Road, Cambridge CB2 8EA, together with a copy of appropriate documentation, e.g. birth certificate.
We recommend you return certificates using a trackable method of postage such as Recorded Signed For.
You can make amendments to candidates’ personal details until certificates are printed. In general, this is as follows:
Any requested changes after certificates have been printed will mean certificates have to be reissued and replacement certificate charges will be applied. See our fees list:
We only issue replacement certificates for a limited time (see above). After this time, we issue certifying statements of results. These are an official copy of the final examination results held by OCR and can be used as proof of qualifications gained.
