Depending on the qualification, different results reports are issued:
For vocational qualifications with remotely moderated units, once moderation is complete, the examiner-moderator will produce a centre feedback report for each batch of work submitted. This form is a multi-purpose document which is used to:
To view the report, log in to Interchange, hover over ‘Centre information’ and then click on ‘Examiner-moderator reports’.
If the examiner-moderator finds the standard of centre assessment is not consistent enough to ensure sample moderation will be successful, the claim will be withdrawn. The centre assessor will then be responsible for re-assessing the work before re-submitting the claim.
Feedback reports are not available via Interchange for claims that have been withdrawn completely. However, we will email a copy of the report to the designated contact in the centre (usually the exams officer).
For externally verified qualifications, after each visit, the external verifier will prepare a quality assurance report, which will be emailed to you as soon as it is available.
You can also access all of your reports via Interchange by hovering over ‘Centre information’ and then clicking on ‘External verifier reports’ in the left-hand menu.
This report will provide details of any actions and/or recommendations made by the external verifier at the visit. If relevant, the report will also include any recommended sanctions imposed on your centre in line with the OCR criteria for verified qualifications.
If the centre meets the appropriate criteria, the external verifier may recommend they are awarded direct claims status.
When a sanction level 2, 3 or 4 is recommended or lifted by the external verifier, the report will be reviewed by OCR and a letter confirming the imposing or lifting of the sanction sent to the head of centre. (See the appeals page for details of how to appeal a sanction.)
A moderation report will be completed by the OCR moderator and emailed to the centre within 48 hours of the moderation. This report is a multi-purpose document which is used to:
This report is designed to be supportive and will include comments on the accuracy of the centre’s assessment, advice to the centre and actions to be taken by the centre discussed at the moderation visit.
This shows unit results for examined and moderated units together with the date achieved. You can generate it for individual candidates, a candidate range or the whole cohort. It updates dynamically, taking into account any changes that are made.
To access the report, log in to Interchange, hover over ‘Cambridge Technicals’ and click on 'Results documents' in the left-hand menu.
For all vocational qualification internal assessments and paper-based tests, hard copy control reports are issued at the same time as certificates. These provide qualification-appropriate details:
