Following our previous communication, we can now confirm further arrangements for AS, A Level and GCSE Art and Design for the Autumn 2020 series.

Externally set tasks

For AS, A Level and GCSE Art and Design, all assessment material for externally set tasks will be released on 12 August 2020.

The externally set tasks will be available on our Art and Design qualification web pages:

• AS Level
• A Level
• GCSE

We won't be issuing hard copies for the Autumn 2020 series.

We'll be using tasks that have been set previously, before the June 2020 series. Students must therefore select a new theme, option and/or starting point for their externally set task if they've already used these as practice material.

The externally set tasks will be examined by OCR and not moderated as usual. You can read more on the Art and Design autumn arrangements here.

Submitting candidates' work

The deadlines to submit your candidates' work are as follows:

30 October – AS and A Level

13 November – GCSE.

We'll issue further guidance shortly about how to submit candidates' work.

Reminder: entry closing dates

The entry closing dates for the autumn series are as follows:

4 September – AS and A Level

18 September – GCSE.
