Changes to GCSE Geography assessment for summer 2021

We recently informed you of the GCSE adaptations for summer 2021. We can now provide you with further information of the changes for:
Unfamiliar fieldwork questions
As part of the these changes, we can confirm the geographical context of the unfamiliar fieldwork questions for the summer 2021 exams. These are the same for the GCSE Geography A and GCSE Geography B specifications:
- The physical fieldwork context is coasts.
- The human fieldwork context is urban.
Delivering fieldwork skills
We have resources to help support you in delivering fieldwork skills, whether this is ‘in the field’ or virtually. You can find these in the Guidance and Support for 2021 documents below:
