Updated specifications

Following a review, we have made some amendments to the specification for Level 1 and Level 2 Cambridge Nationals in Health and Social Care.

The two key changes are:

• We have improved the information about synoptic assessment.
• For unit R031 (Using basic first aid procedures), we have removed the requirement for the teacher to hold a current first aid qualification. However, a person with a current first aid qualification (not paediatric) must witness the practical assessment (Task 4). The set assignments are in the process of being updated to reflect these changes.

The updated specification is available now from the qualification page, please make sure you are using the most recent version with your students.
