Producing ITQ and CLAiT Plus Assessment Evidence using Publisher 2010 and 2013

We are aware of on-going issues surrounding the production of evidence for printing colour separation for some ITQ and CLAiT Plus qualifications (03991-03999) (13995-13996) (13999) (04636-7). This affects the following Units:

• CLAIT Plus, Unit 4: e-Publication Design
• ITQ, Unit 31: Desktop Publishing Software

If your centre uses Publisher 2010 then a workaround solution can be found on the ITQ qualification pages of our website (under 'teaching and learning resources') and on the CLAiT Plus pages of our website (under 'notices to centres'). However, we are aware some centres may have difficulty producing evidence using Publisher 2013 as this does not allow learners to print colour-separated camera-ready copies, or produce screen prints. 

We suggest that an alternative Unit is selected at the outset or, where possible, learners use earlier versions of Publisher so that they are able to meet the assessment requirements for these Units.
