GCSE English resits June 2017 – Which specification should I choose?

If you’re delivering GCSE English/ English Language resits this year, you may feel unsure of the different options available to you. In 2016-17, there are three specifications available to students who need to resit their exams: GCSE English J350, GCSE English Language J355 and GCSE (9-1) English Language J351. The chart below offers guidance on which specification would be best for you and your students, depending on your situation and context.
Over the next few weeks we’ll explore a number of different situations you might find yourself in.
The final entry deadline for the June 2017 exam series is 21 February 2017.
