We are introducing a new ‘near-pass’ unit grade for Level 3 Cambridge Technicals (2016) for students who narrowly miss a Pass on externally assessed units.
We've prepared a set of frequently asked questions to help you and your students understand what this means.
Our Cambridge Technicals Level 3 suite supports your students' lifelong learning journey and are included on the 16-18 Performance Tables for 2020 in England and recognised for UCAS Tariff Points.
We have developed our Level 2 Cambridge Technicals to meet the DfE’s Technical Certificate characteristics to provide your students with the skills required when starting out in their chosen career. We worked with key industry employers and experts to make sure they provide the right knowledge and competence required when entering into employment, progressing onto a Level 3 Tech level qualification or an apprenticeship.
These qualifications include a range of mandatory and specialist pathway units; allowing your students to really focus on what is right for their chosen career path.
Most of our Level 2 Cambridge Technicals are included on the 16-18 Performance Tables for 2020
We hope to hear the final outcome of our 2016 Level 2 Cambridge Technicals submissions in Digital Media and Business by late Spring 2018.
