Description
Exploring the NEA: develop your understanding of the internally assessed NEA components
Our ‘Exploring the NEA’ course for A Level Design Technology: Fashion and Textiles (H405) builds upon the principles mapped out in our ‘Preparing for the NEA’ events - which discuss how you can support students to develop the skills required for successful NEA work; offer guidance on how to establish effective internal marking and moderation processes; and showcase the other support resources that are available to you in the run up to delivering your first NEA unit. Our ‘Exploring’ events focus more on practice and application: providing you with opportunities to work through past series’ materials, including candidate exemplars. Lead by Lead Moderators, our ‘Exploring the NEA’ course is designed to support you in understanding how and why a range of exemplars secured the marks they did, empowering you to apply this knowledge to your own teaching and delivery.
