Certificates are issued in the name provided when the original entry was made.
Once certificates have been printed, we won’t change whole names but we can correct spelling mistakes or the wrong date of birth.
Please send requests and certificates to the Results Team, OCR, The Triangle Building, Shaftesbury Road, Cambridge CB2 8EA, together with a copy of appropriate documentation, e.g. birth certificate.
We recommend you return certificates using a trackable method of postage such as Recorded Signed For.
You can make amendments to candidates’ personal details until certificates are printed. In general, this is as follows:
- November series – mid February
- January series – mid May
- June series – mid September (apart from early certificates, which are printed on or around 1 September).
Any requested changes after certificates have been printed will mean certificates have to be reissued and replacement certificate charges will be applied. See our fees list.
