Public exams under scrutiny
27 November 2017
The Education Select Committee is holding a session on the integrity of public examinations.
As part of its role scrutinising the work of Ofqual, the session is intended to examine the “general issue of exam integrity”, allowing Select Committee members to question both the independent and state sectors.
The Committee will also have the opportunity to question Ofqual about its review of the involvement of teachers in the exam setting process.
Other witnesses at the session include representatives from Cambridge Assessment International Education, the Independent Schools Council, Eton College, and the Department for Education at Oxford University.
