Create a standfirst for each article. This is simply the introduction to the article and will let users know what information is going to appear in the article

Use bulleted lists when possible:

• Keep the language simple and the sentences short.
• Try to stick to one idea per paragraph.
• Use the natural language of your audience.
  

Remember to link out to other content that will support your article.

• Don't paste directly from Word (paste into a text editor first)
  
• Get someone else to check you content before publishing.
• Read it out loud.
• What do you want the user to take away from the content/do next?
