How to make an ATS request

You make all requests via Interchange. You will need either the centre administrator (GQ) or post-result full access (GQ) role to be able to access the relevant areas.

For help on getting started with Interchange, or updating your user roles, see our Interchange pages:

  • Getting started with Interchange
  • Managing user accounts

What happens next?

All scripts for both the priority and non-priority services will be provided electronically as a PDF image for you to download from Interchange.

  1. You will receive an email confirming that PDF images of your requested scripts are ready to download. (This email will be sent to the address provided when you submitted your request.)
  2. Scripts will only be available to download for a limited period (the expiry date is shown on the download page within Interchange).
  3. Download the PDF images and save them on your own system as soon as you receive your email.

How to view your script

  1. Log into Interchange and hover over ‘Post-results’ in the left hand menu.
  2. Click ‘Access to scripts’ and select the ‘Find scripts’ tab.
  3. Enter a candidate name and click ‘Find units’ or enter a specification, unit or component code and click ‘Find candidate’.
  4. Click on the PDF logo in the ‘Ecopy’ column to view and download your script.

Script annotation

The script you request will contain annotations added by the examiner. To find out more about understanding these, see our script annotation page.

Hints and tips

  • If you select priority and non-priority scripts for the same candidates or the same units/specification/component, then you will receive and be charged for the priority service.
  • On the ‘Review your selected items’ screen, un-tick the relevant box to remove an item from your request and click ‘Amend items’. The list will update accordingly.
  • To remove everything from your current request, click one of the ‘Remove all’ links (either for priority or non-priority scripts).
  • You can view all submitted requests by selecting the ‘Previous requests’ tab.
  • You will receive an email when your PDF images are ready to download so please ensure you provide your up-to-date email address when submitting your request.
