A Level Chemistry B H433 past paper update
29 August 2024
We have corrected an error in one of the A Level Chemistry B H433 (Salters) question papers used in the November 2020 exam series.
The error appeared in the H433/01 Fundamentals of Chemistry question paper, which took place on Tuesday 6 October 2020 – Afternoon.
In Section A question 12, for answer option B, the word ‘substitution’ was used when it should have been the word ‘addition’.
Question 12, answer option B should read:
‘The electrophilic addition of chlorine with alkenes.’
To assist teachers and invigilators in your mock exams, we've published a post-exam correction for H433/01 Fundamentals of Chemistry October 2020, which you can view and download from the Assessment > Exams > Question papers and mark schemes section on Teach Cambridge.
