A Level Ancient History H407 specification update

For our A Level Ancient History (H407) specification, we've updated the ancient source material for ‘The Breakdown of the Late Republic, 88–31 BC’ depth study in Appendix 5h.

The prescribed edition for Cicero's letters is now:

• Cicero, Selected Letters, trans. D. R. Shackleton Bailey, Penguin (ISBN: 978-0140444582)

Remember, you can use any translation of the sources in your teaching and learning. However, where a passage is printed on our question papers it will be taken from the edition listed in our specification, with modifications as seem appropriate to our examiners.
