Following feedback from centres, we have amended the data sheets that accompany the June 2025 modified question papers for the following qualifications:

• GCSE Gateway Science – Chemistry A (J248/01/02/03/04)
• GCSE Gateway Science – Combined Science A (J250/03/04/09/10)
• GCSE Twenty First Century Science – Chemistry B (J258/01/02/03/04)
• GCSE Twenty First Century Science – Combined Science B (J260/02/06)
• GCSE Twenty First Century Science – Combined Science B (J260/04/08)

To improve clarity and accessibility, we’ve added the relative atomic masses of the elements to the enlarged list following the periodic table. This amendment applies to the June 2025 series onwards.

You can view and download the amended 18pt, 24pt and 36pt modified data sheets from the Assessment > Exams > Question papers and mark schemes > 2025 section on Teach Cambridge.

Teachers can now make sure students with access arrangements are familiar with the data sheets prior to their exams. The data sheets can also be used for teaching and mock assessments. 

Where modified papers have been ordered for students, they will be provided with clean printed copies of the data sheets for each exam.
