Entry Level Art and Design (R310)
29 April 2022
As the deadline to submit internally assessed marks draws closer, we'd like to remind you of the moderation process for Entry Level Art and Design (R310).
The first step is to submit your marks by 15 May 2022 (if you haven't done so already). For support on submitting marks see the OCR website.
After submitting your marks, you'll receive a moderation sample request. This will come from no-reply@ocr.org.uk. The earliest you'll receive your sample request is 3 May.
You should only submit work for candidates who have been identified by us as part of the sample.
There are two ways to submit the sample for this qualification: work can either be uploaded electronically to the OCR Repository or submitted via post. (When you made your final entries, the entry option specified how the sample of work for each component would be submitted: '01 – Repository' or '02 – Postal moderation'.)
- OCR Repository – Candidate work must be uploaded within three working days of the sample request. Files should be clearly identified by candidate name, number and the Portfolio. For more information on preparing work for the Repository, see page 14 of the Teacher's Handbook for Entry Level Art and Design. For guidance on using the OCR Repository, see our website.
- Postal moderation – Candidate work must be sent for moderation within three working days of the sample request being received. Instructions for posting the work will be provided in the sample request email.
Note: If work does not reach us within three working days, we may not be able to issue results on time.
You can view guidance on the presentation of candidate work for postal and Repository moderation for May 2022 on the Administration section of our qualification page.
For more information about the moderation process, take a look at our non-exam assessment page.
