Withdrawal of OCR Functional Skills in ICT
Following a review of our qualification offer and due to funding changes and market demand, we have decided to withdraw all OCR Functional Skills qualifications in ICT from 31 July 2023.
We are withdrawing the following qualifications:

Final assessment arrangements
OCR Functional Skills in ICT Entry Level – 09873, 09874, 09875
The last registration date for new students is 31 July 2023. You must claim students' completed units on Interchange by 31 August 2023 – it will not be possible to claim after this date.
Results will be issued and certificates awarded in line with normal turnaround times.
When planning your curriculum, please take note of these dates to make sure students have adequate opportunities to retake the tests.
OCR Functional Skills in ICT Level 1 and Level 2 – 09876, 09877
Paper-based test arrangements
To receive question papers on time, you must make your entries by 31 July 2023. Students will not be able to sit a paper-based assessment if they are not entered by this date.
Paper-based tests ordered on 31 July 2023 should arrive in centres by 7 August 2023, and all question papers (used and unused) must be posted to the OCR Examiner by 21 August 2023. There will be no further assessment opportunities available after this date.
Results will be issued and certificates awarded in line with normal turnaround times.
When planning your curriculum, please use the Functional Skills paper on-demand dates calculator to help schedule your assessments. It is important to note the date results are available from, so you can make sure students have adequate opportunities to retake the tests.
On-screen test arrangements
Please register your students in Surpass before 31 July 2023. It will not be possible register any new students in Surpass for OCR Functional Skills in ICT after this date.
Currently, our on-screen tests are available in fortnightly sessions. We've published a schedule for the last sessions below:

You can schedule on-screen tests for registered students up to and including 6 August 2023. No further assessment opportunities will be available after this date.
