Change of date for return of Controlled Assessment samples for GCSE Computing (J275)

Following discussions with the regulator, Ofqual, we will be carrying out additional quality assurance checks on this year’s GCSE Computing controlled assessments in summer 2016. As a result of these additional checks, it will not be possible for us to return any controlled assessment samples to centres before the start of the school summer holidays. We will return candidates’ work after the enquiry about results deadline (20 September 2016). 

Please keep a copy of the sample scripts you submit for moderation, or alternatively, submit the sample electronically via the OCR repository (accessed via Interchange). You'll then still be able to refer to it should you need to decide whether to submit an enquiry about results. If you still need sample work back, please contact our Customer Contact Centre on 01223 553998 or via email general.qualifications@ocr.org.uk. 

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused, at what we know is a very busy time.

Please note: We would like to ask all centres to take care when submitting their Practical Investigation (A452) and Programming Project (A453) marks to us. It is good practice to ensure these are double-checked and that marks are not transposed. This leads to delays in the moderation of candidate work.
