- J410/07 – International relations with the USA 1945-1974
Note: We have not changed the entry option codes listed in the specification on page 42 onwards, or those listed for GCSE History A in the general qualifications entry codes booklet for 2022/23.
Minor amendments to specification
We have made some minor amendments to the specification which include corrections and revised terminology, these include the following:
- on page 23, we have corrected the date of the deposition of Richard II to 1399.
- on page 36, in the assessment table for question 5 and 6, we have updated the distribution of marks to match those in the sample and live material
- on page 37, in the thematic study table, a reference was made to an ‘outline’ question – we have corrected this to a ‘describe question’, as specified in the sample and live material.
These amendments do not affect the assessment of this qualification.
You can view and download our amended specification (version 1.6, dated October 2022) from the GCSE History A qualification page. Please make sure you are using the correct version.
