Updated candidate cover sheets for 2020

Following a review of GCSE Music, we have updated the candidate cover sheets to include clearer information about the duration of performance and composition in the non-exam assessment components. You can find these on the Forms Finder page in the Administration section of our website.

You need to submit these forms for all those candidates whose work is requested for moderation.

Updated Minimum Duration Statement

If any of your candidates do not meet the minimum duration requirements, you must also complete the Minimum Duration Statement form (CCS437) and include it with their work when you send the requested sample. Any resulting penalty will be applied as part of the moderation process.

As part of the review of June 2019, we have streamlined the process for June 2020 and the form now includes a link to submit directly to us.

By submitting this form you are confirming any candidates who have not reached the minimum requirements have been added to the requested sample, and all other candidates in the cohort have met the minimum duration requirements as outlined in the specification. 

This form only needs to be submitted if you have candidates in your cohort who have not met the minimum time requirement.
