New OCR Instructions for Conducting Examinations
07 September 2020
New OCR Instructions for conducting examinations now available
The OCR Instructions for conducting examinations (OCR ICE) have been updated and the 2020/21 version is now available. These regulations apply to the externally assessed components of both reformed and legacy Functional Skills and Digital Employability qualifications:
Any centre delivering these OCR qualifications must have a copy of this new version available in their centre and exam venue(s), and all staff involved in the delivery of the qualifications must be aware of and adhere to these regulations.
There have been a number of regulations specific to the delivery of reformed Functional Skills added, together with clarification of existing regulations. Differences between this and previous versions of the booklet are highlighted throughout in yellow.
The updated OCR ICE is valid up to and including 31 August 2021. If regulatory changes are made before 31 August 2021, we will let centres know.
The OCR ICE for 2020/2021 is also available to download from the Functional Skills and Digital Employability qualification pages as well as the administration section of the website.
