This subject update was originally published on 7 February 2022. We've now added that the advance information will be provided for the November 2022 series of exams in GCSE English Language and Maths on 27 June 2022. It will be different from the advance information for summer 2022.
To support student revision, we have now published the advance information for the Summer 2022 GCSE, AS and A Level assessments.
We've already summarised the adaptations and non-exam assessment (NEA) arrangements, and in November, we published the formulae and data sheets for 2022.

This is now available for your subjects:

Is there advance information for all subjects?
Advance information will not apply to the following subjects because subject specific adaptations (or ‘optionality’) has already been applied:
- GCSE English Literature
- GCSE History and GCSE Ancient History
- GCSE Geography
It will also not apply to AS and A Level Art and Design which will be assessed by NEA via a portfolio.

What happens if exams don't go ahead in summer 2022?
While exams are scheduled to go ahead in summer 2022 the Department for Education (DfE) in England and Ofqual have confirmed their contingency plans if exams were not able to take place. Read our news story for more details.
