- We've issued over 47,000 Cambridge Technicals results to over 35,000 students.
- This year we’ve worked with over 7,500 assessment specialists to mark and moderate over 1.5 million exam papers to make results possible this year.
“Versatility and diversity”
Today’s results encompass the full range of general and vocational study and reveal interesting trends in subject preference.
OCR has seen a significant increase in entries for its A Level Computer Science – up 18% – following a longer-term trend that has seen students seek qualifications that will help them in the modern workplace.
Jill said: “The variety of qualifications being awarded today – from Health and Social Care to Maths to Computer Science – reflects the diverse interests and motivations of our young people.
“We must ensure that the curriculum continues to reflect this incredible vitality, by offering subjects and content that prepares students for a twenty-first century workplace, whether that’s digital literacy, green skills, or a solid foundation in maths and English.”
