Our offer for AS and A Level Law

Updated in 2020. The qualifications were updated in 2020 to reflect changes in the law and feedback from teachers, making the content more manageable for both teacher and students. The qualifications remain fully co-teachable, allowing educators to teach AS and A Level students together efficiently.

A straightforward specification. The specification allows teachers to cover the content efficiently, embedding application and evaluation skills into lessons. Students learn content but also skills to help them progress in any area.

We provide straightforward question papers. There is not an overwhelming number of short questions. The papers have a consistent format that allows students to know exactly what to expect.

Consistent exam format. The consistent exam format helps students develop exam techniques, further improving their chances of success.

Detailed guide for each component. These guides support the specification and components, including suggested cases, statutes, and resources so teachers can confidently plan and deliver lessons.

We offer plenty of support. We provide a wide range of exemplar materials, past papers, and sample assessment materials (SAMs) to help teachers prepare their students effectively. Our ExamBuilder tool allows teachers to easily create custom assessments, while our numerous CPD events, both free and paid, offer opportunities for professional growth and networking, enabling teachers to share ideas and improve their teaching strategies.

There are no plans for further redevelopment. This offers stability and allows schools and teachers to invest time in planning and delivering without concern over upcoming specification changes.
