Description
Exploring the NEA: develop your understanding of the internally assessed NEA components
Our ‘Exploring the NEA’ course for A Level Design Technology: Design Engineering (H404/H004) builds upon the principles mapped out in our ‘Preparing for the NEA’ events - which discuss how you can support students to develop the skills required for successful NEA work; offer guidance on how to establish effective internal marking and moderation processes; and showcase the other support resources that are available to you in the run up to delivering your first NEA unit. Our ‘Exploring’ events focus more on practice and application: providing you with opportunities to work through past series’ materials, including candidate exemplars. Lead by a Moderator, our ‘Exploring the NEA’ course is designed to support you in understanding how and why a range of exemplars secured the marks they did, empowering you to apply this knowledge to your own teaching and delivery.
