The OCR-set assignments for Level 1/Level 2 Cambridge Nationals are replaced each year. This means students who complete an NEA unit in Year 10 must complete a new assignment if they decide to take that NEA unit again in Year 11 to improve their grade.
Students are permitted to adapt their work from a previous assignment to meet the requirements of the scenario and tasks of a new assignment. They can also build on their work to improve it.
The information on this page does not apply to Sport Studies unit R185 and Enterprise and Marketing unit R069 as, although the assignments are replaced each year, the scenarios and tasks do not change.

Teachers of Health and Social Care and Child Development should note there are two tasks that do not change to meet the new scenario:
If a student is happy with their performance on these tasks, their work can be used towards the new assignment without needing to be adapted. Work for all the other tasks in the assignment must be completed again or adapted to make sure it meets the requirements of the new assignment.
All tasks, including those adapted from a previous assignment, will be included in the moderation process.
