In the ‘Set Y’ marking scheme for Functional Skills in ICT Entry Level 3 (09875), we’ve amended the text to reflect the wording on page 21 of the ‘Set Y – Educational Trip’ assessment task.

On page 27 of the marking scheme, for the skill standard E3.6.1, we’ve changed the following:

• ‘The map has been inserted, as instructed in the email’ is now ‘additional information has been inserted, as instructed in the email’.

To confirm, it’s not a requirement for students to insert a ‘map’ in the email when they complete this part of the ‘Set Y Educational Trip’ task  – a ‘map’ is just an example of what they could insert as ‘additional information’.

The Set Y assessment materials are for use between 1 October 2022 to September 2023 only.

Withdrawal of OCR Functional Skills in ICT reminder

Remember, we are withdrawing OCR Functional Skills qualifications in ICT from 31 July 2023. You can view the final assessment arrangements in our subject update.
