In June 2022, we updated the data/equation sheets of the sample assessment materials (SAM) for our GCSE Combined Science (J250/J260) and GCSE Physics (J249/J259) specifications. At the time these sheets included a watermark which stated ‘for first assessment 2023’. 

To avoid any confusion with the data/equation sheets being used in the June 2023 exam series (see below), we’ve now removed the watermark from these sample assessment materials. 

You can view and download these amended data/equation sheets from the  Assessment > Sample assessment materials sections of the GCSE Combined Science A, GCSE Combined Science B, GCSE Physics A and GCSE Physics B qualification pages on our website. The sheets are also available on Teach Cambridge.

June 2023 exam series

We'd like to take this opportunity to remind you that the data/equation sheets which are being used in the June 2023 exam series meet Ofqual’s requirement to provide all equations to students – see our subject update originally published in January 2023.
