Paul Jones

Life at OCR started for me in March 2010. Before joining the Customer Support Team, I worked in the Operational Hub, as a Product Manager and as a Customer Support Manager. My experience in these roles has given me a diverse range of knowledge that helps to assist and support our customers in administering OCR qualifications.

My role as Senior Customer Support Manager means I’m responsible for the management of the field-based Customer Support Managers.

Alison Leather - South East

I’ve worked in education and exams administration for over 20 years. I’ve been an exams manager in a further education college and a large secondary school – so I know just how challenging and rewarding a role it can be! I started helping exams officers when I joined the Department for Education’s National Assessment Agency (NAA) in 2004 as a field-based Centre Support Officer. I joined OCR as a Customer Support Manager in 2007 and have enjoyed supporting our centres ever since!

I support centres in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey and West Sussex.

Assad Razzaq - London

I’ve been with OCR since 2014, previously working for a FE college and training provider. I started OCR as the Regional Account Manager for London before moving into the role of Customer Support Manager. If you have any questions or would like support about any of our qualifications, please get in touch.

I support centres in the City of London and Greater London as well as HM Prisons in England.

Gail White - East Midlands

I joined OCR in 2001 and became an OCR Customer Support Manager in 2007 when the team was first formed. During that time I have supported centres across most of the UK. I understand how challenging and rewarding the Exams Officer role can be and I’m keen to hear from anyone in my region who may need support or guidance. 

I support centres in: Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire.

Jane Parsons - South West

Jane Parsons

I’ve been working within the education sector for 10 years and joined OCR in 2013. As Customer Support Manager for the South West region I can offer support to centres by providing information about our qualifications, resources and the help we can provide. If you have any queries about OCR’s qualifications and services, or if you would like some support then please get in touch. 

I’m responsible for supporting centres in Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Somerset, Wiltshire and Worcestershire.

Kate Marritt - North West and West Midlands

I joined OCR in January 2018 as the Customer Support Manager for the North West and West Midlands. I have been working in the education sector since 1998 and have experience of exams administration through my role as Assessment Manager at a university medical school and more recently as an Exams Officer in a large high school. I know, first hand, how challenging the role can be so I am looking forward to assisting and supporting centres within my regions.

I support centres in Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Shropshire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands.

Nikki Claydon - East

Nikki Claydon

Having started my career in education back in 2005, I joined OCR in May 2010, working in the Operations Department. I became a Customer Support Manager in September 2014. Please get in touch if you have any questions about our qualifications and services or need any support or guidance with administering OCR qualifications.

I’m responsible for supporting centres in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.

Rachel Smith - North East, Yorkshire and Humberside

I have worked in the education sector for over 17 years and joined OCR in 2014 as a Regional Account Manager before becoming a Customer Support Manager. I have thoroughly enjoyed the past four years in this role as it enables me to support centres across the North East, Yorkshire and Humberside regions by providing information about our qualifications, resources and the help we can offer.

I support centres in County Durham, East Riding of Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Northumberland, Rutland, South Yorkshire, Tyne and Wear and West Yorkshire.
