For Cambridge Technicals you can make named entries using a web-based form.

1. Log in to Interchange.
   
2. Hover over ‘Entries’ in the left-hand menu and then click on ‘Make entries’.
3. Click on the relevant named web-based entry form link within the qualification category you require.

1. Select your assessment. You can find this by entering the assessment code, title or part title in the search box. If you leave the search box blank, all qualifications for which you are approved will appear in the dropdown list.
2. Select the qualification you require and click ‘OK’. 

Next, you need to select your candidates. You can do this by choosing individual candidates or whole candidate groups.

1. Enter the name, part name, UCI or candidate number in the search box and then ‘Find candidate’. You can restrict the search to show only candidates added during a given time period, from ‘today’ to ‘in the last five years’.
2. Select the appropriate candidates and then click ‘Add selected candidates’. They will appear on the right-hand side of the screen.
   
3. When you have selected all your candidates, click ‘Next’.

You should select existing candidates rather than creating new ones. However, if you cannot find a candidate, you can enter their details:

1. Click the ‘Add new candidates’ tab.
2. Enter the candidate details in the fields provided and then click ‘Add candidate’.
   
3. When you have added all your candidates, click ‘Next’.

Select your entry options (this is where you choose the relevant unit).

1. Select the entry option you need by clicking in the relevant radio button (either ‘Full award entry’ or ‘Unit entry’). If making unit entries, you can make up to three unit entries at once.
2. Ensure the relevant candidates are ‘ticked’ and click ‘Apply to selected’. Repeat this process until you have input entry options for all candidates in the list. 
3. Click ‘Next’.

1. Review your entries and add an order number. 
2. Click ‘Submit entries’ to confirm. You will then see a confirmation page.

View the entry submission history to see what entries have been submitted:

1. Log into Interchange.
2. Hover over ‘Entries’ and click on ‘Entry submission history’ in the left-hand menu. 
3. Click on the desired suite of qualifications from ‘Cambridge Technicals’.
   
4. If you submitted your entries via spreadsheet, use the ‘Uploaded spreadsheets’ tab instead. 
5. You will then see a screen similar to the one below.

If you have any entries with ‘No’ in the ‘Processed’ column for more than 72 hours, please contact us.

Use view entries to see your processed entries:

1. Log into Interchange.
2. Hover over ‘Entries’ and click on ‘View entries’ in the left-hand menu. 
3. Click on the desired suite of qualifications from ‘Cambridge Technicals’
   
4. You will then see a screen similar to the one below, either showing ‘Registrations and Entries’ or ‘named test entries’ depending on the qualification suite selected.

The following are useful features of Interchange:

• You only need to set up a candidate once – they are then ready for use for multiple series.
• Whilst creating entries for a unit or qualification, you can go back and add/remove candidates or change entry options without cancelling your entry.
• Once you’ve selected a group of candidates, you can add additional entries to the same group without having to search for them again.
• If you find you have duplicated a candidate, provided you have not yet made an entry for both candidates, it is possible to delete one of the candidates.
• You can also create candidate groups, which can be tailored to include candidates of your choice. To do this, log in, hover over ‘Candidates’ in the left-hand menu and click on ‘Candidate groups’ and follow the on-screen prompts.
